Sherpa Mountain Travel sets up trips to in the small local villages remote areas of Himalaya where the cultures still fresh and untouched. Our company’s goal is give people opportunity to experience the natural wonders of the Himalayas while exchanging cultures between travelers and local villagers. This is an especially wonderful opportunity for college students who like to observe different life and places. These trips offer volunteering opportunities with local schools, assisting with local farming/animal care, and learning mountaineering skills. Participants will live with a local family, be taught about local culture, religion, and basic greetings in the local language. There is always an English speaking guide on each trip to teach participants about local cultures as well as assist with language barriers.
